Savannah Schertenleib

LPC

Savannah is a trauma-informed Licensed Professional Counselor who earned her bachelor’s degree in special education from Gonzaga University and her master’s degree in clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University. She finds sacred intention on building therapeutic relationships and supporting others in their healing journey. She operates from a somatic and relational space, viewing her client’s process holistically and openly - exploring their lifestyle, relationships, behavioral patterns, childhood, and how these elements may be impacting overall health. Her intention as a therapist is to support the cultivation of safety and autonomy, fulfillment/fun in life, while honoring her client’s inner wisdom.

She specializes in working with women, including adolescents (16 and older), and adults who are navigating complex relationships, anxiety, low self-esteem, people-pleasing patterns, trauma, and inner child healing. She takes a body-based approach, integrating nervous system regulation and Polyvagal Theory with cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, guided imagery and internal parts work. She also emphasizes practical, sustainable strategies tailored to each client's unique needs.

Rooted in her own lived experiences, she brings compassion and curiosity into her work, creating space to deeply understand others. She is passionate about building meaningful relationships and walking alongside her clients as they explore how they arrived in their current circumstances, making sense of their stories, and stepping into owning their authentic selves. Being relatable, genuine and supportive is what she strives for in her office - this may look like laughter, raw emotions, being compassionately challenged, physical movement, an open mind/heart, and just being human!
