Mark is a licensed professional counselor in the state of Idaho. He graduated from Washington State University with a Masters in Counseling Psychology, a Masters in Organizational Leadership from Chapman University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management from Washington State University. Mark is experienced in working with troubled teens and their families, as well as treating challenges like: PTSD, ADHD, ODD, bipolar, schizophrenia, and depressive disorders.
Mark works with teens, adults, couples, and families. His approach is mainly cognitive behavioral (your thoughts and how you view yourself and others affect how you feel and behave), but believes in selecting the right approach (tool) for the right problem or challenge at hand (eclectic). For example, person-centered therapy is an approach that Mark believes passionately in.
Mark is a native of the Lewiston/Clarkston valley and glad to be giving back to the community where his roots were established. In the past, Mark's passion for the development of effective families and teams has motivated him to contribute to these organizations: The American Society for Quality (Education Chair), Institute for Cultural Affairs, Organizational Development Network, and the Northwest Facilitators Network.
