Katie McPherson, L.M.S.W.
Katie is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) licensed in Idaho and a Trust-Based Relational Interventions (TBRI) Practitioner. She has worked with families from hard places for the past four years in a variety of different roles. She currently volunteers for the Latah Recovery Center leading the Recovering Parents program that provides training and mentorship to parents rebuilding relationship with their children. Katie has had opportunities to work with youth, adults, families, and couples. Katie is currently working on becoming a Clinical Social Worker in Idaho with which she hopes to serve families and children throughout the quad cities.
Katie works with children ages 8 and up, adults, couples, and families. Katie believes in a holistic approach to healing that includes spiritual, mental, and emotional wellness. Katie will utilize multiple approaches to counseling including Parts Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT). She will work closely with you to discover your strengths and help you learn new ways of managing life’s challenges. Her goal is to help you build resilience as an individual, a parent, and a family.
Katie is a member of the National Association of Social Workers.
