Justine Culp
Practicum Student
Justine is a Counseling Intern currently working toward her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling through Liberty University to become a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Idaho. She attended Lewis-Clark State College where she earned her bachelor’s degree in business administration graduating with honors as a student-athlete.
Justine continued in athletics upon graduation at LCSC as she transitioned into coaching young athletes at Lewiston High School and the local club volleyball team. Opportunities for mentorship, goal development, and wellness management were utilized to support her team. Justine is experienced with school-aged students but seeks to serve all individuals. She has also utilized personal training to connect with others individually where she implemented mindfulness, visualization and thoughtfulness to induce behavioral changes and habit modifications to support and achieve physical wellness goals.
She has experience with anxiety, depression, childhood trauma, and postpartum depression/anxiety. Justine uses an eclectic approach to best support each client utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Person-Centered Therapy. Justine will work to seek and understand life’s complexities while fostering a collaborative relationship with her clients. She will be under the supervision of her clinical supervisor, Muna Crook, LPC.
Justine believes in the client’s potential to achieve wellness and will provide a safe space to explore every circumstance with acceptance and openness. She will meet you with empathy and unconditional positive regard as you pursue healing.
